Campus Proposal

To develop one community campus building that links the Monkton Park offices and Olympiad leisure centre. The aspiration is to deliver a greater town centre presence, by improving riverside access and by changing the aspect of the building to face the River Avon.

The Campus will become a focal point for community activities and embrace a wide variety of local services, facilities and amenities to support the Chippenham community area.

Background to Campus intiative

Wiltshire Council is working with local communities to develop exciting proposals for innovative community campuses across the county.

Campuses will help deliver services which are value for money, tailored to local needs and influenced by local people and partners. This will ensure customers and their needs are at the heart of future plans.

  1. Shelley Frost

Hello, Just wondering if you can assist us….Wiltshire Council (as you probably know) have needed to cut back on services to young people and as a consequence my lgbt group are needing to find another venue as the Bridge Centre is closing. We saw a sign about ‘community matters’ in Sainsburys and wondering if you can help to supply a venue where we can meet in Chippenham? We meet one evening a week between for 2 hours between the hours of 5-9pm. We are flexible on evenings and can meet Tues/Weds or Thurs. Could you possibly help? Thank you so much for reading this and I look forward to hearing from you.
    Kind regards, Shelley
